SILENCING THE COMPETITION
CLIENT: HUSH BEAUTY COMPANY
Hush Beauty Company are a premium provider of several beauty services including manicures, tanning, lash lifts and waxing. Their unique selling proposition is to bring high-end salon services to the comfort of your home.
A full brand identity was required to launch this new startup including logo, branding, website, business cards, flyers. The end goal being to position them as a luxury indulgence for busy, successful women who are too busy to visit the salon.
A colour palette was required that was clearly suited to the beauty industry and the target market, as well as retaining an element of sophistication to attract their target market.
The final choice was a mix of coral for the main accent colour with white and grey, alongside more muted pinks. This provides a bold identity without becoming too garish.
These are the fonts used for the Hush Beauty Company. Handwritten script fonts are really on trend and are a perfect fit for the beauty market. This first typeface is Playlist Script, which I love.
Vision is a great compliment font to imply class and luxury. If you look at most high end brands, they almost all use a light sans-serif typeface. I’m a big fan of Vision, which is not as commonly used as many similar (some would say overused) fonts.
